This article describes how to configure an IMAP account using the Gmail application on Android devices.
Open the Gmail App.
Tap the three lines to load the menu.
Click the arrow pointing down, towards the top right corner of the screen
Tap the "Add account' Option
Pick "Other" as the email type on the "Set up email" Screen.
Enter in your email address instead of "email@example.com"
Pick IMAP as the type of email Account
Enter your email password.
Enter the server name provided to you instead of "x.exacthosting.com"
If you are unsure which server to use, go to your domain name, like example.com/webmail - the server name will be in the address bar.
Ensure the "Require sign-in" toggle is on.
Enter the same server under SMTP as the previous step, replacing 'x.exacthosting.com'
Chose Account Options including Sync Frequency, Notifications and if attachments are to be downloaded automatically.
Congratulations! You have now setup your email using the Gmail app.
