Automatically detect which setting to use. Note: If you are unsure of what setting to choose we recommend that you select this setting. |
Backup Mail Exchanger | Configure the server to be a backup mail exchanger for this domain. |
Local Mail Exchanger | Accept mail locally for the new domain. |
Remote Mail Exchanger | Do not accept mail locally for this domain. |
1) Login to cPanel from exacthosting.com or login to your cPanel by going to yourdomain.tld/cpanel
2) Navigate to the "Email" panel and select "Email Routing".
3) On this page select the mail routing option that is best suited for your you. In most cases our clients will be using either:
- Local Mail Exchanger: This option is used when your email accounts are hosted on the same server as your website as mail will be routed from you website locally.
- Remote Mail Exchanger: This option is used when your email accounts are hosted on a different server than your website (Example: Enhanced Email Product, Office365, Google).
Once you have selected to the option that is best suited for you push the "Change" button to save the settings you have selected.
