Our hosting environment supports File Transfer Protocol (FTP) for uploading your content files. You will need an FTP client, an FTP password, and server information to be able to use this method.

Downloading your FTP client
We suggest the following well-known clients.
Creating your FTP password
We'll start by setting up a password for your primary cPanel user, which doubles as an FTP user if you have no done so yet.
- Log into your account.
- Select the Services icon.
- Click Active next to your hosting service.
- Press Change password, then Save changes.
Note: Keep this password handy, this will be your master FTP password for cPanel & FTP.
Retrieving your FTP Server Information
- Log into your account.
- Select the Services icon.
- Click Active next to your hosting service.
- Choose Login to cPanel.
- Inside your cPanel copy down the server name and your username.
Note: Keep these two pieces of information together with the password you just reset, it will be required for FTP login.
Adding your FTP login info to your FTP program
- Open your FTP program, in the picture below I’ll be using Filezilla.
Note: The main directory for your primary domain is Public_html. Addon domains will be Addon -> example.com-> public_html. - Fill in your FTP information and click Quickconnect to start your FTP session.
